It's Halloween and time for tricks, treats, and haunted house parties. One trick-or-treater is a bit scared, but has a faithful companion to show the way and ease any fears. Mummies untangle, skeletons jump and jiggle, and zombie couples dance. It's enough to make any little one hide his or her eyes. But our frightened trick-or-treater isn't little. It's Dad! Linda Hoffman Kimball's spooky rhyme bounces along as the trick-or-treaters go out looking for some Halloween fun. Kids will laugh and giggle when they discover Dad was the one who was scared. Mike Reed's appealing monsters perfectly complement the story. The author lives in Illinois. The illustrator lives in Minnesota. This is their first book for Albert Whitman. 20070526.
